GMC Prep School is a special and unique place; we look forward to sharing it with you!

Our school’s focus is on “developing the intellect and elevating the character” of the students we serve. GMC Prep has held true to the same mission since its inception in 1879 and defines “student success” as graduating educated, contributing citizens who possess both the academic skills and character traits needed to be successful at their chosen college/university and in life.

Process of Admissions

We have a three-step process for acceptance and admission. Each phase must be completed before the next phase begins.

STEP 1 – Future Bulldog
The applicant must complete the Future Bulldog Registration Form. Once the online form is completed, the applicant must also submit a $500 Future Bulldog payment. This is a retainer fee, not an application fee, and holds a place in the queue line for the application process. Both items must be completed to be placed on the list. You can complete this step
HERE

STEP 2 – Application Process
At the beginning of the calendar year, an email will be sent to names who are on the Future Bulldog list with instructions for the Application Process. This email will contain a link to the School Application, a link for teacher recommendations, a records request of grades and discipline report that must be submitted by the parent/guardian to the child’s current school and other required health forms that must be completed and returned by the school & parent/guardian.

STEP 3 – Acceptance & Admissions
Upon completing all necessary items in Step 2, the Administration Team will review the required documents and decide on acceptance. The student will then move into the Admissions Phase which will include details on tuition payments, meal plan options, and uniforms. The $500 Future Bulldog payment paid in step 1 will be subtracted from the overall tuition fee.

Starting Dates
The required start date for GMC Prep is the beginning of the school year in August.

Upon class availability, a mid-year January date (Semester 2) is also an option if the above steps have been completed.

Admission within a current semester is only possible under extenuating circumstances presented by the parent, approved by the Administration Team and pending seat availability in the class. All of the steps above must be completed before being considered for enrollment.
