Class of 2025

  • 77 students (100% of the class) received a GMC Prep School diploma
  • 54 Honor Graduates – students earning a cumulative HS GPA of 90 or above
  • 54 Graduates attended GMC from 6th through 12th grade 
  • 72 students (94%) will enroll in a post-secondary institution in Fall 2024 with 1 student enlisting in the Army, 2 students attending Lineman School, 2 students will enter workforce at Georgia Power 
  • Accepted to 72 different colleges and universities.

  • 1 is committed to serving in the United States Marine Corps attending college on a 4-year ROTC Scholarship 
  • 1 is committed to serving in the United States Army attending college on a 4-year ROTC Scholarship 
  • 1 has chosen to enlist in the United States Army 
  • 4 Members received ROTC Scholarships; 1 will use it at Jacksonville University and 1 will use at the University of Alabama 
  • The Class of 2025 earned over $1.5 million dollars in scholarship monies (academic, athletic, and/or military) towards their postsecondary education 
  • 60 students (78%) earned the Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship 
  • 68 students (88%) participated in our Dual Enrollment program with GMC Junior College as a Junior and/or Senior. These students combined to complete 455 college courses and earned a total of 2,267 quarter hours. 
  • Average SAT scores: 1101 Composite - 571 Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, 530 Math—surpassing the National and State Averages; 87% of the class took the SAT exam 
  • Average ACT scores: 25 Composite - 25 Reading, 24 English, 24 Math, 24 Science and 23 STEM—surpassing the State and National Averages 
  • During their High School years, the Class of 2025 was part of 1 National Championship, 14 State Championships, and 11 members of the class hold at least one Individual State Championship Title 
  • Four students accepted invitations to participate in athletics at the collegiate level, they are —2 Track/Cross Country, 1 Softball, and 1 Soccer. 
  • The Class of 2025 continued the tradition of our 11 previous graduating classes by reaching their goal to fully endow a “Class of” scholarship prior to graduation. As of May 2025, the “Class of 2025 Endowed Scholarship Fund” totaled $38,234 with the first award based on financial need to be disbursed for the 2026-27 school year.
