Take the first step - become a Future Bulldog!

GMC Prep School's Future Bulldogs program provides parents with the opportunity to reserve a seat for their child/children at any grade level - Elementary, Middle, or High School - for any school year in the future.   Completing the Future Bulldogs process is the first step in the formal application, acceptance, and enrollment process.

In the Fall of the year prior to entry to GMC Prep, parents of Future Bulldogs are contacted about the application process.  The application process requires parents to submit an application packet that is reviewed by the Admissions Committee.  Admission may be granted to those applicants with acceptable overall grades and standardized test scores, successful promotion from previous grade level, and satisfactory discipline records.  An applicant who is administratively placed in the grade level for which he/she applies will not be considered for acceptance.  The complete academic and discipline history of the students will be evaluated.

If you are interested in applying for Semester 2 (January - May) of the 2019-20 school year, please contact us at gmcadmissions@gmc.edu or call 478-387-4859 for grades 3-5 and 478-387-4878 for grades 6-12.

Applications for School Year 2020-21 will be available on our website beginning January 15, 2020, for all students who are Future Bulldogs for the upcoming year.

The steps in the Application and Admissions process are:

1.  Complete and submit the official GMC Prep Student Application - available in paper format or online - along with a non-refundable application fee of $30.

2.  Parent/Guardian obtains official school  records from all previous schools.  The records must include, but are not limited to - a report card/transcript that reflects all previous courses/grades/credits and is current as of the last completed grading period, standardized test scores, student support services records (including 504, SST, and/or IEP), and full discipline history of the prospective student.  GMC Prep does not request records on behalf of students; it is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to submit the "Request for Student Records" from including in the application packet to all of the student's previous schools and to ensure that GMC Prep receives complete records.  *No admissions decision will be made without the documents.

3.  Upon GMC Preps' receipt of the complete records, the Admissions Committee may tentatively accept a student if the applicant's grades, academic progress, standardized test scores, and discipline records are acceptable.

4.  Parent/Guardian will be contacted with an admissions decision within 2 weeks of receiving the documents outlined above.
